Urban Decay Goes 'On the Run' With Newly Released Palette

First it was Bonnie and Clyde, then it was Jay and Bey, and now it’s Urban Decay. For these ultimates, going on the run is king. Following right in line with these infamous duos is Urban Decay with its recently released “On the Run” palette — a surprise from the cosmetics company just in time for the holidays. In sync with its name and rightfully so, the all-in-one travel kit was designed for the girl on the go.
After the successes of its trio of Naked palettes, beauty junkies are chomping at the bits to get their paws on this limited edition carry-on of makeup products that are guaranteed to give you a completely fresh and well, naked look.

Get the Defibrillator---Urban Decay Is Coming Out With Naked 3

So...by now you guys should be at a point where when I tell you something is going to be a hit, or that you should mark your calendars for something, then you should do it, right?  Well...my favorite make-up brand Urban Decay is posting all over the web and on Instagram about the release of Naked 3...the third (well technically 4th) eye shadow pallet from the Naked series. (See related blog post: Get Naked!)

Urbandecay.com / The moment I thought I was gonna pass out from excitement.
Anyone who is everyone will be rushing out to get this new pallet so PLEASE take it from that it will behoove you (I just love that word..behoove)...it will "behoove" you to go to Urban Decay's website and sign up to be on the list to get the EXACT release date for this newest pallet. It will sell like hotcakes as soon as it hits the stores so I wouldn't even risk it.  Both Naked 1 and 2 were $50...so start saving your funds now and get ready to own a piece of greatness.

Naked 1, 2 & 3 side by side...SWOON!!!!! This is a snapshot of the evil trolls at Urban Decay teasing the lowly beauty obsessed peasants about the newest release of Naked 3.  HOW EVIL!
I have both Naked 1 and 2 and have yet to be disappointed. I've received the most compliments I have ever received makeup wise when I use these eyeshadow pallets and it's just all around a must have. Whether you are new to the use of eye shadows or a pro who uses 6 brushes when doing your eyes, you MUST have these pallets.

Get naked!

Just recently at two events I have received more compliments on my eye make-up than at any other event I have attended.  I find it really flattering when people ask, "YOU did your own eye make-up?"  Ummmm yeah!

While I would LOVE to take all of the credit for my fabulous eye shades and blends lately, I just can't.  I'm not a genius...just a girl who loves her beauty products and make-up.

So to create a fabulous eye for the evening, I prime my eye with Urban Decay's eye primer potion.  This will ensure that my eye make-up stays put ALL day with no re-touches. For everyday I use the primer on the right and for a little shimmer I use the primer on the left.

The best primer ever!!!!!

Next I apply my eye shadow according to the layout on picture below.  This is the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette.  One of my most favorite palettes.  You can not go wrong with these eye shadow colors.  The palette is $50 but it literally lasts and you can create so many different looks that you get your money's worth immediately.

I apply "outer mid lid" first, then "mid lid." Then, I apply the "above crease shade" so that I can blend the other colors over it.  Next, I apply the "crease" and create my smokey eye with the "outer crease" color.  The diagram below leaves off that the inner eye lid color is the 4th from the right.  This is the color that tops everything off.  Blend all harsh lines with a blending brush and VOILA!  Last but not least, don't forget to apply the "brow bone" shade to highlight the arch of your brow.  And that's it!!!!!  This is my secret, hope you guys enjoy! (It helps to have a good set of brushes to achieve good blending and to have each color pop out on your eye.)
